Indian meals is especially troublesome to make when you’ve got made the vegan change. Most of our dishes embody ghee(clarified butter), milk or contemporary cream. So after I considered making this change, my mum actually cried. 😂😂😂
All our desserts have both milk in them or we use ‘mawa/khoya’ which is made by simmering full fats milk until it solidifies into this scrumptious bowl of gooey goodness. After a number of experiments, I’ve give you this vegan model of our very personal Paneer Butter Masala!
I changed the paneer with agency tofu and the butter with unsweetened condensed coconut milk. Ofcourse my fam objected on the vegan model as a result of if this curry would not use ‘full fats cream’ and dollops of butter, it is pretend.

Incase y’all are selecting sides and also you select my fam, I might counsel you to interchange the condensed almond milk with 1 c full fats cream and 1/2 c water. I typically use amul_india
And end the curry with 2 tbsp of butter. It will beat the dhaba type butter masala fosure! 🍛🍛
